SHKUA makes house calls. 

You can work out in the convenience of your home, office or office fitness center. Space is not an issue!  This will not only save you time and gas, but allows you to focus on the task at hand.  If you already have a gym membership, great! SHKUA will help you make the best possible use your membership to supplement the foundation we create using the SHKUA principles.

We all know that no two bodies are alike but what we fail to understand is that our own bodies are different each day. Some days it works great, other days it feels like Monday for several days. From a muscle perspective this reality is dictated by our nervous system. The nervous system has the daunting task of firing your muscles at the right time, in the right order, with the right intensity to meet an infinite number of tasks. Therefore there are no cookie cutter perfect workout plans that yield equal results to all that join in. Our bodies do have the amazing ability to adapt to demands placed upon it, if there are appropriate.

 SHKUA will evaluate your body's settings and make the appropriate corrections and create training regimes to allow your body to do what it does best. We use science not magic, to strategically identify neuromuscular imbalances that would otherwise cause abnormal wear and tear on your joints no matter how well intended your current exercise routines are now.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Complete Package

  • Full body muscle testing using ROM (Range of Motion) evaluation and neuroproprioceptive testing. This evaluation is done on a massage table fully clothed and is design to check for muscle imbalances that will adversely affect your bodies ability to use your muscles in the correct order with the correct amount of intensity. These imbalances will quickly wear down your joints with many common and popular exercises or simply with time. Everyone has imbalances, some can be corrected while others need to be identified to avoid further damage. To often people associate their challenges with activity as a result of aging, when in fact, they may just need a proper tune up.  Weight management and fitness goals can be achieved in a safer and more timely manor, once you realize your body is an extraordinary machine that can only run as well as you properly use and maintain it. Identifying and addressing some of these imbalances can also reduce or eliminate certain chronic pains and increase your ROM (Range of Motion) at certain joints. 
  • Reinforcement exercises to prevent a recurrence of identified neuromuscular imbalances.
  • Complete total body exercise regimen with personalized strategic training variations for optimal weight loss, muscle tone and joint longevity.

NO EQUIPMENT?


 

 



No Problem! 

SHKUA primarily uses advanced resistance tubing, which is lightweight, portable and can be utilized alone or quickly anchored to a multitude of indoor and outdoor locations.  Tubing is also the tool of choice because of its versatility allowing for more joint friendly applications.  Any results achieved with machines or free weights can be achieved with resistance tubing at a lower cost with less chance of injury and you can travel with it conveniently.  It also allows for limitless exercises and can be creatively combined with weights and other equipment to maximize their effectiveness. So if you have equipment, great! We will analyze what you have and show you how to get the most from it safely.

The only equipment required by you will be an appropriate size stability ball and an exercise mat.  Any additional equipment will be recommended based on your health and fitness goals.

 


Group Programs

FINALLY A GROUP FITNESS PROGRAM THAT ANYONE CAN DO!

 

Our newest program, S.W.A.T-IT is a low impact upper and lower body resistance routine that will quickly produce results for people at any fitness level. This is possible because S.W.A.T-IT is based on human bio-mechanics, which allows anyone to easily burn 40-50% more calories than walking or traditional gym exercises alone and in far less time. The best part is you work at your own pace and intensity. You will feel the beneficial effects immediately. S.W.A.T-IT is the best total body, joint friendly, muscle toning, calorie burning activity you will ever experience! 

S.W.A.T-IT Programs

We offer two distinct formats:

  1. A walking based program.
  2. A non walking based program.

Both programs are low impact and offer an upper and lower body experience. S.W.A.T-IT  can be performed indoors or outdoors. This allows S.W.A.T  participants the ability to achieve their goals anywhere! 

S.W.A.T-IT  Corporate Wellness Program

S.W.A.T's corporate wellness program is an effective way to dramatically improve your physical appearance while reducing work related stress. It can easily be performed on site during lunch hours or immediately after work. The bio-mechanical nature of S.W.A.T-IT makes it a perfectly safe, joint friendly activity that improves stamina, muscle tone, fat loss, and chronic joint pains and muscle pain. S.W.A.T-IT  Residential Subdivision Program

We believe wellness starts in individual homes, and communities. Therefore we offer our S.W.A.T-IT program to neighborhoods and subdivisions, in an effort to rebuild and improve our communities relationships.
